A fairytale-eque scene amidst a garden of summer green… The bride stood elegantly in her classic white gown that was expertly tailored by Reno’s own Suzanne Lindell of Boldt Line Tailor and Cloth, surrounded by the soft pastels of her bridesmaids’ dresses and bouquets. Somewhere in the distance, the groom nervously awaited his bride, surrounded by the comradery of his groomsmen in their Men’s Wearhouse custom suits. The flower girls created a finishing touch to for the garden setting as they danced through the crowd playing tag and hide-n-seek.

She flaunted the beauty of the button-up lace backing of her Swoon dress during a touching first-look ceremony on the venue grounds. Celebrating their love for each other as high school sweethearts and now a married couple, these two radiated with happiness on their wedding day. The venue was as personal and special as all the unique design elements incorporated by the very talented wedding coordinator Klytia Dutton of Joy Simplified Events.

Murmurs of the bide’s beauty could be heard as she walked down the isle with her father. The wedding ceremony location offered a picturesque view for all the wedding guests as they overlooked a beautiful meadow and rustic barn in the distance. The magical setting was amplified with the personalized exchange of vows between the couple. A few puffy white clouds adding just the right amount of interest to their photos played as the backdrop to the couple’s scene where they exchanged refined Sterling Sage rings. Soft blue skies emulated the pale and subtle colors of the scenic outdoor ceremony site.

The organic feel of the wedding was reflected in unique bouquets arranged by Carolyn Rouse, which exhibited stunning wildflowers that matched the floral centerpieces of each table, as well as the greenery of the ceremony arch. Long banquet tables featured platters of fruit by Pangea Cafe and Pub, reminiscent of a king’s feast. Various homemade fruit-infused drinks sat atop a rustic wagon-like stand. The bride kicked off her pastoral shoes from Dillard’s to relax and enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends that had gathered for the town of Quincy, California’s event of the summer.

The one-of-a-kind Karla Davis cake was decorated simply with wild berries and foliage matching the bouquets. It was displayed atop an adorable, DIY verdant wooden desk – the perfect setup for cake-cutting photos.

The reception was nothing short of perfect, thanks to Onsite Coordinator Klytia Dutton. Live music preceded DJ Max Kronyak (Forever the Weekend) which kicked off their first dance. Beneath string lights in a rustic barn, they spun around without a care in the world. A neon sign in the background said it all: LOVE.

As guests continued to dance to joyous songs, we stole Natalie and Garrett away for a romantic sunset photo session. The sun dipped beneath the horizon, casting an ethereal glow on the bride and her new husband. He dipped her slowly for a kiss: the perfect end to a perfect night.
